ADMISSION INFORMATION

 

 

1. Admission Requirements

 

Applicants must have graduated from high school (or equivalent) with a minimum cumulative GPA of 20.0/30 over three years of high school.

 

2. Study Model

 

Students will follow a 2+2 program:

 

• The first 2 years at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (Vietnam)

• The final 2 years at Beijing Language and Culture University (China)

 

 

3. Application Fee

 

 

• 500,000 VND per application dossier

 

 

4. Language of Instruction

 

 

• Chinese

 

 

5. Majors

 

 

• Chinese Language, with two specializations:

   

  • Chinese Linguistics

  • Business Chinese

   

 

 

6. Program Structure

 

 

• Total: 160 credits

• Students complete:

   

  • 80 credits in the first 2 years in Vietnam

  • 80 credits in the final 2 years at Beijing Language and Culture University

   

• Applicants who have not achieved HSK Level 4 will be required to complete a Chinese language foundation program at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade before transferring to China.

 

 

7. Study Schedule

 

 

• Full-time program from Monday to Friday

 

 

8. Tuition Fees

 

(Paid per semester – 2 semesters per year)

 

In Vietnam:

 

 

• 55,000,000 VND/year (advanced classes: 30–35 students per class)

• 65,000,000 VND/year (standard classes)

 

 

In China (at Beijing Language and Culture University):

 

 

• Estimated: 70,000,000 – 90,000,000 VND/year

  (depending on campus selection: main campus in Beijing or branch campus in Hainan)

 

 

9. Degree Awarded

 

 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese Language – Major in Chinese Linguistics

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese Language – Major in Business Chinese
