“Startup Business Planning Ideas” Competition 2025-2026

On the evening of April 17, 2026, at the auditorium of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, the Faculty of Business Administration successfully held the Final Round of the “Startup Business Planning Ideas” Competition for the academic year 2025–2026. The event was not only an academic playground but also a platform for innovative ideas, showcasing the confidence and aspirations of students in the digital economy era.

In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Quang Linh, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, emphasized that the competition serves as a strong motivation for students to apply their knowledge in practice, develop business thinking, and enhance their presentation skills.\

The final round took place in a vibrant atmosphere, with the participation of more than 500 students. Notably, the competition attracted nearly 30 business representatives and industry experts who served on the Jury Panel and Advisory Board, thereby strengthening the connection between the university and the labor market. 

A distinctive feature of this year’s competition was the integration of competition and coaching. After each 5-minute presentation, teams received not only critical questions from the Jury Panel but also practical feedback and guidance from the Advisory Board, including CEOs and business executives.

The finalist projects stood out for their strong applicability and social responsibility, including the Recoffee Panel project made from coffee grounds and plastic, BIO-WRAP biodegradable film, and organic soil improvement products with microbial blending. After intense rounds of competition, the Jury Panel awarded 01 First Prize, 02 Second Prizes, 03 Third Prizes, and 04 Consolation Prizes.

Concluding the event, Ms. Hoang Thi Thoa, MA, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, officially launched the university-level Startup Ideas Competition. This reflects the ongoing commitment to nurturing promising entrepreneurial ideas within the academic environment. Although the competition has concluded, its spirit of innovation will continue to inspire students as they confidently enter the challenging world of business.
